<p>i didn't get into holy cross which was my first choice all of high school, and I am excited about fordham.</p>
<p>how do these two schools compare? I feel like Fordham must be right up there, but will I have the great alumni network and excellent academics as I would have at Holy Cross? </p>

<p>Holy Cross is ranked higher academically but Fordham has a very strong alumni network in the New York area and is also very solid. Do well there and you can go anywhere.</p>
<p>My S is having a great experience at Fordham RH all around. Excellent academics, a fun social life etc. The Fordham alumni network is very strong in the Northeast, especially around NY. I suggest coming to Fordham for an accepted student day to see if the school feels right for you. Congratulations on your acceptance to Fordham.</p>
