State flagship it is.

Sorry, what is AI?

Thanks,

Academic Index, first mentioned in “A is for Admissions” - that book can arguably be considered the precursor to CC, by the way.

just something to laugh about if you make the cut and blame if you don’t.

Yes of course, I read this book before. I remember it mentioned a 9 point system.

I think your fine like some people before.
I doubt they’ll notice honestly, and if they do, they probably won’t think enough to really let that affect your application (they aren’t so mean).

I have a few typos in my essays but still managed to get in.

seriously? You’ll be fine. Rereading my essay after admissions, I spelled the third word in wrong. There was also a grammar error or two. As long as your essay is strong and coherent, I doubt a typo will make a difference.

A Notre Dame representative (who was an egotistical biotch) told us that if you had any spelling mistakes in your essay it was extremely detrimental. But that was ND and they are kind of snobby.

I honestly don’t know. I’m sure it won’t be the deciding factor.

who wants to go to ND? lol…

@whartongrad08 My thoughts exactly.

lol…most of the people I’ve met from ND have such a safety school complex…same goes for Georgetown.

Ditto Whartongrad! The Penn Admissions person I heard speak said Penn isn’t overly picky on all the little crossing t’s dotting i’s… they are more interested in what type of person you are and if you are a good fit for the school. No worries on the typos…I missed a word in my common app essay too. If that’s enough for them to throw me out then so be it! I wouldn’t want to go to a place that expects people to be robots!
