How much can I raise my SAT score in 7 months?

I'm a sophomore, and I got a 214 on the October 2012 PSAT with no prep (I just took one practice test before). I am in a Princeton Review SAT class now, and in my last two diagnostic tests, I got a 2100 and a 2130. This is my first real prep. I'm hoping to take the October 2013 SAT and get a 2400. I am planning on dedicating a huge part of my summer to studying. For those of you who have studied for the SAT before, how much can I hope to improve by October? Do you think I can make 2400?

Easily. Check out this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1173822-my-fast-sat-prep-guide-how-i-went-2080-2340-10-days.html

Don’t waste your summer studying, though. I find that short bursts of intense work very close to the test date help immensely. I raised my score 100 points by doing essentially nothing else but SAT prep the week before the test. The poster in the above thread raised her score almost 300 points in just 10 days. Study smart! The SAT is just one component of your overall package, and you want to spend the summer before your junior year doing meaningful activities so that you have a better shot at junior year summer programs.
