How much clothes should I bring for fall quarter?

OK OK I know this is kind of a dumb question but I just wanted to get a feel for how many pairs of pants etc. I should try to stuff in that triple for fall. Since I'm a guy, I was thinking like 1 set of dressyish clothes, 2-3 pairs of jeans, 2 sweatshirts, a handful of shorts and a bunch of t-shirts. As I understand it its best to kinda do your wardrobe by quarter (like waiting till winter quarter to bring all of your jackets etc.). Anybody think they've found the # that seems to be the sweet spot between bringing enough and not too much?

A list (doesn't have to be in SUPER great detail :P) would be very much appreciated.

Do a search in the College Life forum. There have been lots of threads over there recently which might answer this for you.

bring enough for 2 weeks...thats what im doing.

im guessing its not going to be to cool...so lots of shorts for me.

depends on how often you wanna do laundry :D

I would disagree with bringing shorts for Fall Quarter.
Genuine "shorts weather" doesn't come around until Spring Quarter.

No more ice blendeds for you flopsy if you think fall is no shorts

Well, it'll get chilly in a few weeks, I think.

maybe for the general public. hows CHEM and LS1?

Both are fine, LS1 is definitely a weeder class.

1 pair, flip them inside out each day.

Just kidding! :)

Enoguh for one or two weeks. Depends if you do laundry, or go home on weekends to do laundry

i think im going to wear shorts every day. as long as my top half is warm its all good in the hood baby :)

I can't do that. I never wear shorts haha. I'd probably die if I wore shorts. unless I was swimming. but I'd probably die then too cuz I suck at swimming.

hahahaa
shorts are comfortable...your legs get to breathe and yeah. of course i wear jeans sometimes

never really wear shorts....or jeans hahaha

uhhh...should we be worried? lol

hmmm...thats peculiar. :)

so he lives off sweats. thats comfortable.

i wear shorts/sandals all year . never gets below 50 degrees here.

hallelujah :D

I usually wear khakis, t-shirt or polos and flip-flops

Suggestion from the college board:

21 pair socks (more if you play sports)

Light/heavy jackets
Gloves/scarf/hat (if appropriate)
1 pair boots
2 pair sneakers or comfortable/walking shoes
1 pair dress shoes
1 set business attire
