How much clothes should I bring for fall quarter?

in a triple room in a res hall do all 3 guys share one closet?

I thought there were two closets and one smaller closet under the bed?

Hm...random question but...how many boxes has everyone packed so far? I'm not quite sure what's considered too much and what's too little...

yeah jason...there's more than one closet

I've packed about 2.5 weeks of clothing. I'm just bringing my computer and a lamp. I will survive.

Two weeks of clothing is plenty, especially if you're flying to UCLA.

you're kidding right emmeline? :D...maybe you're not.

I plan to do the same as emmeline (plus toiletries... i hope you're bringing that em) HOWEVER my home is 5 miles away so i can retrieve things. even if you're far away you can just buy more stuff. or live simply.

Some of you may have to pack for "special circumstances" clothes also. Like, my Dad works for United so I can fly practically free, but I fly standby, which means if I want to visit home I need to have some dressy clothes with me. Ew.

hey that's cool fiddledd...that saves a lot of money and affords you more trips home.

thanksgiving ticket prices are OUTRAGEOUS

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. I get to travel a LOT. But sometimes it really stucks. Try getting stuck in the DC airport for three days without suitcases and in fancy clothes, lol.

I think Thanksgiving my Mom is just going to buy me a ticket though. She's not willing to risk me not being home on Thanksgiving because I can't get a flight. Or you know, I have to fly out Thanksgiving morning when no one flies. (Has anyone done this by the way??? Any experience with it?)

why do you need the dressy clothes?

dances, interviews.

since there are 3 closets in the triple res hall room, does anyone know the dimensions of each closet? (too lazy to go look it up)

When you fly standby you represent the company, so they do not allow you to wear jeans, tennis shoes, sweatshirts, etc etc. Which means I've flown all across the world in skirts/black pants, nice tops, and reaaaaally uncomfortable shoes.

jason:

from the housing site
