How much community service hours look good to colleges

I have racked up over 300, close to 400 hours of community service hours since freshman year. A good hundred of those hours were spent doing various projects with school clubs and independently while the rest was spent volunteering at a local nursing home. I did not take on the volunteer work just to impress colleges though, I really do enjoy volunteering and being active in the community.

However, I did not really document a lot of these hours, although the hours spent at the nursing home are on some kind of file.

How much community service usually looks really good to colleges?

Thank you for taking the time to read this :D

I think that several hundred is pretty typical for people applying to some of the top schools.

I don’t think this is a valid question: “How much community service usually looks really good to colleges?”

It’s not just quantity but quality - implementing new programs looks better than just volunteering and working in a school to teach special-ed kids to read probably looks better than volunteering as a camp counselor.
