It should be in the same acceptance folder.

$0, accepted Dec 16 with 1390 SAT and 33 ACT and 3.5 UW.

$0, accepted with 1340 SAT and 96 (unweighted) average

$10,000 per year. 1460 SAT, 3.8 GPA.

1,750 grant for this semester but i ended up defereing and decided to start in the fall

$3228 per year; $12,912 total.

That's the Academic Exellence Scholarship, I would've applied for the Nutmeg if I had noticed it in time. I also might be 1st or 2nd in my class by the end of this year, so maybe I could get the $2500 grant too.

$6,496 Leadership Scholarship (Accepted today, now gotta wait for 11 other schools)

1410 SAT's 3.91 UW 4.83 W + about a million clubs with Pres/VP spots

Its wierd though some girl from my school got around 9K with a 3.3 UW, a 1290, and less clubs.

ya i dont quite understand UCONNs scholarship money system...seems like alot of people who u would expect to get money didnt

i got that leadership scholarship as well..i applied early action for the day of pride scholarship, so that prob. helped...

3.7 UW, 1300..

how many of you are from CT?

I'm out of state (MA) and I got the Presidential Scholarship which is about 10,000 per year and one time 2,500 research grant.

2060 SAT (only 1320 math+cr), but 790 math iic, 740 writing and 29 ACT with perfect essay

I wonder if Uconn offers full rides. Its definitely a top-ranked public school

WHOA. we are basically the same person. I am from MA too and I got 10,000 a year and have 2070 on my SATs. Where in MA are you from?

Well, you're both going to get $10,000 because that's half of out of state tuition, which is what that scholarship is for.

I got the same scholarship, 2270 SAT, but only $3,000 because I'm in state.

No I got the Academic Excellence Scholarship, not the Presidential Scholarship

They're the same as far as what you receive towards tuition. The presidential scholarship just has a $2500 grant for your personal educational enrichment. You receive it if you're 1st or 2nd in your class.

I am the valedictorian of my class so I believe I won the presidential scholarship.
-btw I'm from North Reading...how about you efg888?

Has anyone received a full ride to Uconn on Merit? Like, as in half presidential for being valedictorian and half for acheivement?

I have not even heard of North Reading. I am from Ashfield.

Have you heard of Andover, Reading, Lynnfield, Wilmington? Its basically a small suburb smack in between these towns. Technically on the North Shore I guess.

I have heard of Andover and that is it. I don't really know my central/eastern Mass towns very well.

On another note: If you become a sal/val by the end of the year, do you get the presidential scholarship?

Good question...I know that our school only announces rank once (at the beginning of senior year) and then that is it. If it is really close, they will recalculate on ocassion to see who gets to speak (top 3 speak).

So I guess it depends on the school's policy. I can't wait to do the overnight program for presidential scholars...Uconn is so much more kick-ass than Umass

Yeah at my school we can check our class rank whenever we want. At the beginning of this year I was 4th. At the end of the first semester I was 3rd. So there is a very slim possibility that I might get to 2nd by the end of second semester. haha and you are definately right about UMass. Even though I applied, I am definately not going to UMass since I can go to UConn instead.
