how much do ap scores affect your admission?

i'm a sophomore rank 1 at my school currently.
i think i'm pretty well rounded in terms of academics, extracurriculars, and etc.
but last year, i took ap bio as a freshman and got a 3.
i was wondering if that matters alot if i'm applying to some ivy schools.

No, the aim for AP classes are to suit minds that like to be challenged with classes which imitate college courses. You take these exams not to impress them (although, of course, your grade and how many/what you take obviously taken into account) but to gain college credit.

SAT, ACT, and SAT IIs will be more impressive than an AP exam. Don’t get them mixed up. As far as I know, they’re not tools to boost your acceptance like that.

whewww, thank goodness.
i’ve been stressing because idk, i don’t really think biology was really MY thing.
hahaha idk, i’m liking ap chem way better…
i did take sat 2 for bio, e and m … i got 710 on both.

idk if that’s good or bad but… I HAVE DECIDED to put this all behinddd me.
there’s still like about 7 or 8 ap classes that i’m going to take… so hopefully, i do better on those.

I know a guy who got a two on his APUSH exam, and he got into Stanford. Don’t worry too much about it :D

oh really? haha thanks, i will try not to!
