I am going to be a junior in high school and my sophomore year I took European history. I did horrible! Both semesters I got a C in the class and I got a 1 on the AP exam. The only thing it that I REALLY want to go to UCLA for college (majoring in English) and at this point I am terrified that I won't get in. I get A's and high B's in all other classes that I take, it's only AP European history that basically killed me. I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten into UCLA or a really choosy college with low ap scores/C in a class. Should I just not send them my scores when the time comes for me to apply? I'm so scared that I won't get in that I'm being reduced to tears.

Your GPA would affect your chance much more than the AP scores.

Do colleges even see your AP scores before admissions decisions?

you have the option of sending your ap scores after your admissions process, so it doesn’t affect you at all if u send it after you’re accepted (if denied, no need to send them)

I think you just won’t get college credit. Your GPA will suffer, though.
