Maybe this is an obvious question, but I'm just wondering. I'm thinking of getting a job this year.

I’d imagine they view them as another extra curricular, but I was wondering about it, too.

(I’m currently in high school and working)

Students who shows dedication to their jobs prove that they are responsible and don’t just have everything handed to them on a silver platter, which is generally looked upon favorably by admissions officers. However, I don’t think it is cause for an incredibly large advantage in the admissions process.

It’s not that big of an advantage but it definitely shows that you are not lazy and do make the most of your time .

As with a lot of things: It looks good if you have one, but they won’t necessarily consider it bad if you don’t.
