For first semester of senior year, I know I will get 3 b’s in ap bio, ap gov, and ap lit which isn’t a drastic drop from junior year (2 b’s) and right now I’m taking the hardest course load possible at school. Will these b’s hurt me that much for admissions?
Thanks!!
FYI I did ed to my #1 school, Wellesley but I was deferred
There’s really nothing you can do to change them now but be careful that your grades don’t drop even more your second semester. Colleges will look at a full year report and if your last semester doesn’t reflect the rest of your high school career (senioritis :P), they could potentially reject your acceptance.
But back to your question, I think all grades from the beginning to end of high school should be weighed equally but I guess it depends on the college. Your B’s shouldn’t hurt too much and it helps that you’re still challenging yourself. Good luck with Wellesley!
