<p>I did really well as a freshmen, and I hope they count. I know for UCs and Cal States they maybe take a look, but don't really count at all.</p>
<p>What about private schools, do they look at freshmen grades, and do they use freshmen grades to calculate GPA? Also I took 1 honors freshmen year, will that be weighted and added to my overall GPA to?</p>
<p>It depends on the school, some do, some don't. I think most private schools take into account fresh-junior grades, I would call the admissions offices of the schools your applying to and ask.</p>
<p>Freshmen grades hardly ever count- if you did well, great. But if you did well, but went down hill, then that will be quite detrimental. They look at your entire transcript- don't expect a adcom to make a decision just by glancing at one number that tells them absolutely nothing.</p>
<p>No freshmen grades doesnt count i remember reading thru the site and it said that UC say not to include yur freshmen gr8s but i aint sure.They calculate 10th and 11th grades for UC GPA</p>
