I'm a sophomore and am literally so depressed over my academic performance over the past two years, especially watching my senior friends get into all their dream colleges. I go to one of the extremley rigorous, continously rated top 100 high schools in the country.

Grades:

Freshman:
Multimedia: A, A, A+, A+
Music Tech (half year): A, A
English: B, B, C+, B
Earth Science: A, A-, B, B
Math: C, C, C-, D+
Global: A, A, A-, B+

Sophomore:
Italian: A-, B
Photography: A, A+
English: B, B
Biology: B, A-
Math: C, B
Global II: A, A-

I don't think I did very well at all this quarter due to great amounts of extracurriculars and I can't fall asleep at night thinking about it. I WILL NOT tolerate these grades from myself anymore especially since I know that I'm fully capable of getting close to straight A's. I'm completely embarrased and ashamed of myself.

I play guitar and want to major in music performance. I have been playing for six years, attend a music school, take conservatory prep programs in the summer, and have played with top university professors and grammy award winning musicians.

What are my chances, with improvement? Any advice I should follow?
