How much do SATs matter?

My GPA is a 96W, i'm not sure what that is on a 4.0 scale. About a 93UW I'm guessing. I'm graduating early from high school and am number 20 out of 283, which is really good considering I'm supposed to be a junior. My SATs suck though, i got a 1730. Anyway, I'm applying for the pharmacy program, I live in Connecticut, I'm hispanic, if that counts for anything at that university. I have extremely good grades, extremely good extra-curriculars, work experience, leadership and community service awards, I dance, I play soccer, I'm a hockey manager, and I'm a first generation college student.

I'm in all honors classes except math. I have been since freshman year. I didn't take any APs because the only two offered to me were Lit and US History, which have nothing to do with my major in pharmacy.
My ECs include church, girl scouts, dance, hockey, soccer, National Honors Society, LINK Leader, i volunteer at soup kitchens. I work about 20 hours a week. I teach sunday school, I'm a sponsor for people who wish to be confirmed in my church, I volunteer to help the American Red Cross with their blood drives, and I do the Relay 4 Life every year. I'm a girl scout and won my silver award. I've danced for 10 years, soccer for 12 & one year at school as jv captain, varsity ice hockey manager for 3 years...

I applied in October hoping I would do good on my sats but I didn't so I switched to RD.

My majors pharmacy. Chance me at northeastern?
I'm also wondering if I should send in a resume because not all of my ECs fit on the common app?

Sorry it’s a little repetitive lol I was copying and pasting what I wrote from earlier threads(:

wait, so you’re a junior now? and applied to northeasterN?

Chnically I’m supposed to be a junior but I’m graduating this June.

Technically*

I think if i were you i would take an extra year and work on that SAT score.
pharmacy is very competitive and you want the highest possible score.

Yeah, your SAT is on the low end, and you should work on it

I’m not going to stay in high school an extra year just so I can work on an sat score. Are you crazy?

Anyway, with that low of an sat score will I have any chance of getting in? That’s the only bad part of my application :/

if it helps I got into uconn’s pharmacy program EA with an even lower SAT score…

I’d be weary…
You’ve got good ECs so maybe that’ll balance out… who knows.

well SAT is a big deal because everyone takes the same test. If you are determined to graduate early then NU is a reach for you. And the fact that your school only offers 2 AP classes will hurt. Most of the kids going into pharm have taken numerous AP classes.

im not saying its impossible but if i had to bet you wouldnt get in with low SAT scores.

How are your math SATs? I’ve heard that pharmacy studies require strong math skills.
