How much do subject test scores matter?

My D will apply legacy ED this fall. Her GPA and SAT's are okay but her subject tests are on the low side (mid 600's). Will these scores hurt her chances if she applies ED A&S?

The scores shouldn’t hurt her chances too much My SAT scores were on the low end and my Physics SAT score was a low 630. They look at the application holistically so one factor shouldn’t make or break it. Applying ED will help, but there’s no guarantees with any application.

For most of Cornell’s colleges / majors Subject test scores don’t appear to be weighted heavily at all. Ny D was admitted with a 590 Math II subject score. If they like the rest of the application, a relatively low score it isn’t going to keep an applicant out.
