<p>Last year I attended the Stanford EPGY summer program and I am wondering how much it really helps when it comes to applying to Stanford as an ugrad? I mean is it totally worth it?</p>
<p>It'd be good if people who went to this program and were accepted or attend Stanford could answer please :p</p>
<p>I went to EPGY 08. I was in the most competitive subject for that year-really 1 of only 2 competitive subjects for EPGY that year. </p>
<p>I was accepted, but I do not think it was really an advantage. In my opinion, the only advantage was giving me a great idea of the community at Stanford by getting to know some students and faculty, so I could write a better Why Stanford essay.</p>
