if you got a bad grade in drivers education, like a C, and thats the only C you've gotten on your transcript, but you've got bascially an A in every honors and AP class, how does that affect your chances of admissions at universities?

well the only real detriment would be the fact that a C in drivers ed would bring your cumulative gpa down, and thus your class rank down. Otherwise, i seriously doubt anyone cares.

I think they'd want to know how you could do well and get As in your other classes, especially those that are honors or AP and not get an A in something that seems trivial or easy in comparison.

Driver's ed usually don't count in your GPA... but in case if it does, just try to get it up to a B, because you're going to look foolish with all these A's in AP/HRS classes, and a C in a blow - off class.

drivers ed doesnt count on the gpa. but i didnt blow the class off. i got an A in drivers ed class, but a C in drivers ed car. we have two separate grades for drivers ed - one for the in class assignments and one for the driving in the car.

Only major subjects are included in GPA calculations; Drivers' Ed is NOT considered a major subject. If your only concern is that a "C" in DrEd is going to affect your chances of college admission, relax -- it won't!

Hahahaha, we had to pay big bucks to take drivers ed out of school on our own time.

I probably got a "D." Bahahaha.

How could you not ace drivers ed.? Although I had to take a private course considering my school doesn't offer it, it was not hard at all. Whatever, it's not like you can drive at any school your first year anyways.

Be prepared in case an interviewer asks you about it.

But don't drive to the interview!
