I don't know whether I should make a decision because of price. Some schools are cheaper but I don't know if they are as good as some other schools which are more expensive. I don't know, maybe I'm looking to into this. How much do you consider price when searching for a college?

Keep in mind that the “sticker price” of a school is often more than what many students actually pay. Financial aid (either need- or merit-based) can decrease the price significantly, if you can get it.

Different people prioritize the cost of a college differently. It’s a good idea to limit the amount of debt you take on (especially in private loans). Some people take out $50,000+ in loans for a bachelor’s degree. This is almost always a bad idea. Beyond that, how much you should pay depends on how much you (and your parents, if they’re footing the bill) value something harder to find at a less expensive school (smaller classes, nicer facilities, better location, good program in a certain major, more prestige etc).
