<p>For the Common Application. The explanation space is very small. If I were to put "community service", I can't even fit the places and departments where I volunteered. I think it's pretty important since it ties into my career. Other topics include art and VBS- there's just not enough to mention all I did, but if I elaborate further in the extra information session, it might sound redundant and that I'm just trying to pad my resume. How much did you guys elaborate/explain and how important is this section to colleges?</p>
<p>You can attach a resume but if you do choose to attach one, try not to get too into the details. A simple overview will suffice, don’t want to be bogging down the adcom’s time :)</p>
