ok so if u kno a lot u can answer this for me...
i got a 710 math ic in may and idk if i should retake...
i got an 800m in the sat and i get A's in math...so i thought this would be a breeze...but it wasnt...
im going to take math 2c in october (i didnt take it now bc i wasnt ready)...so when i do that should i bother to retake the 710 on the 1c?...or should i not bother...
im applying to highly selective 7 year med programs
so should i retake it when i take math 2c or just leave it like that...thanks

dont bother.. when they see ur 800 math2c they'll be like.. good he learned his lesson.

thanks confidential, anyone else?

buuuuuuuump

An 800 in Math IIC will own your IC score in adcom eyes, methinks. Don't worry about the IC at all.

A 710 Math IC is 88th percentile. An 800 Math IIC is 90th percentile. Not a big difference percentage-wise, although the 90 point difference may cause the adcom to (perhaps incorrectly) greatly favor the 800.

no one really cares or looks at 1c. i suggest u take 2c cause 1c only makes you look kinda weak

The IIC has a much nicer curve. It also looks more impressive. Don't bother with the IC.

thanks.....

damn, 10% of people get 800 on IIC?

Yup. It has a really NICE curve. But of course, the material's harder, though the questions are pretty predictable and with some studying it shouldn't be hard to ace.
