I took the ACT this year (8th grade) and I got a 26, which I know is actually a decent score. I know that I'm gonna learn a crapload more in the next 3 years, so around how many points will I increase taking all honors classes (the highest our school offers until senior year, when you can take APs), if you have any idea?

I got a 28 as a 8th grader and have a 34/35 now, as a rising Junior, so I would expect you to have somewhere around the 32-35 range. Maybe even a 36. It’s really hard to say with all you know now.

Yes, you’ll probably improve 6-10 points, but there is no real way to tell. A friend of mine got a 28 in the eighth grade, and she only has a 31 right now as a senior, whereas I got a 27 and now have a 34. It depends on you. If you learn “a crapload more” but don’t have a great test-taking ability, then you will not improve as much as you could.
