How much does 2nd Semester matter in Senior Year?

I feel extremely nihilistic when it comes to my senior year.
I'm taking an rigorous courseload (8 classes when the norm is 6, 6 AP classes), but I feel like it just doesn't matter since colleges don't care about them at all.
Suffering from senioritis...Please give me some motivation/reasons to maintain my grades?

Bump. 10char

At my school, seniors get exempt from finals if they can maintain their grades to at least a B and with minimal absences.

^ your school rocks.

I think it doesn’t matter what highschool you go to but you need to not flunk any classes at the very least for any college I would think.

For the very selective schools I’d assume they don’t want your grade to drop a letter grade.
I’d think they wouldn’t get upset if you went from an A to an A-. I wouldn’t panick if you got a B+ in one class. But if you start dropping a letter grade in all your classes they will probably question you as to what is going on.

AP Tests only matter if your college is accepting credits from the class. Otherwise if they aren’t then you really can just sit there for 3 hours and not do anything and it wouldn’t affect anything.

I think it matters to the point where you don’t absolutely screw yourself lol. I’d say just make sure you can stick to a’s and b’s and you should be okay (i think a 3.5 is ideal).

There aren’t any scholarships or anything after senior year that I should expect to have to apply to?

^only if you want to

keep in mind that you might need your HS transcript after you graduate too. I forgot what it was for, but I heard that adults sometimes need to submit it later in their lives (probably for other degrees)

Or if you want to transfer colleges, they’ll see ALL your HS grades
