how much does a grade have to drop for it to hurt you?

heeyyy...I've been a straight-A student pretty much all my life...I'm taking 5 APs this year, and physics is a huge stumbling block for me...i scraped an a- first quarter, then a b+ second...i know i can easily get a B for the rest of the year, but will this hurt my chances for scholarships?

i applied to a lot of "tier 2" schools (and Princeton)...obviously i'm not looking for a scholarship from Princeton, but should I put in some extra effort (I probably could get it back to an A if I quit my job and social life...) as insurance for the other ones? I'm starting to not care about my grades so much....

Haha - you should always care... If they're 2nd semester, they probably won't affect your chances for scholarships... but you shouldn't just slump b/lc you can and the grades d/n really matter (to a point, of course).

a B is fine... don't even worry about it.
