<p>Equestrian is a varsity sport at Brown, Cornell, and Dartmouth, all of which I will be applying to. I'm sure that I will be participating and am sending out letters to the coaches soon. How much will my participation in a new/growing varsity sport affect admissions? I've got good stats and ECs, but they're not phenomenal. I know that I would be a great asset to any varsity team ( I will likely receive something called the World Hunter Rider Championship award for my division) and have been riding for many years. Will this help, or should I just not bother applying?
