How much does an interview help? (honors program)

I am interested in the honors program at UDel. I applied 8/15 and my school got all their stuff in by 10/6. I should have thought of this earlier, but should I be getting an interview? Will it secure my chances of getting Honors/maybe merit aid? Based on what people have said on the class of 2019 page about honors and OOS acceptances, I am holding out to hear back by the end of/mid November given my grades and pretty strong application. Is it too close to bother for an interview? I did tour the school over the summer so they know I have been on campus.

In my opinion and based on my experience with two kids applying to UD, your numbers are good enough to gain admittance to the Honors Program and you should receive merit aid. If your Honors essay was strong, you shouldn’t need to worry about an interview.
