Yikes, this thread fills me with fear. D: About those application fee waivers . . . Do community colleges ever have them available for transfer students or are they strictly for high school students?

All your scores … until this year apparently they have a service called Score Choice. Not too sure if they charge you to use it because Score Choice wasn’t available for my year … though I wouldn’t be surprised if they actually did charge extra $$$.

i hate collegeboard

The waivers are available through collegeboard, the guidance counselor is just a liason. You’ll have to ask. I’m applying to six schools and I have four waivers, but I have to pay for my transcripts (ridiculous policy), plus some score reports and the CSS PROFILE. I’m budgeting about $350.

i dont know much about the collegeboard app waivers but i didnt use even one of them (i dont even know if i am eligible, i am international). but i asked my GC to write a request for a fee waiver for me. but i guess its different for US students…
wouldnt it be possible for people to request a similar letter from their GC. sorry i have absolutely no idea about homeschooled students
