Though Canada USA Math Camp is less selective than RSI, many MOPers and RSI alumni come here every year and they recognize this camp as the second best math camp in the nation(the best one should be MOSP.) As you may know, the qualifying exam is quite hard. Acceptance rate is low because of its selectiveness and magnanimous attitude about financial aid for campers. In the camp, I'm studying various topics of math and also about quantum field theory, about which I will research in order to compete in research competition like Intel. How much does being this alumni and my experience in the camp help me in college admission? If my research in quantum field theory is recognized as excellent by some colleges which I will apply to, does it also help me somewhat?
