How much does Eagle Scout count?

<p>S is a A- student in private school. A few APs for senior year. SAT's are low side of 1300s-- what are chances at top tier? Second tier? Does Eagle Scout (other EC's/sports/ music too) really count for alot? Thanks!</p>

<p>1300 before adding the writing section is pretty decent…about 650 on each section. 1300 AFTER adding the writing portion is pretty bad…about 433 on each section. You should try to improve your SAT score. If you get it up to at least 2000+, then you might have a pretty good chance at decent schools</p>

<p>I was under the impression that Eagle scout helps a lot. Either way, it can’t hurt you.</p>
