How Much Does EC During High School Matter in Transfer?

I’m planning on transferring to Brown or Stanford at Spring 2016 after completing the first semester in this fall. These two have been my dream schools, and in turn I decided to give one more shot.

But I happened to wonder whether ECs I had done while I was in high school matter much for transfer admission and whether transfer adcom allows students to send in their resume that they sent during the last RD season.

High school resume is important for me, because I would have only four or five months in college and apparently won’t be able to present as sufficient amount of ECs as those during high school if ECs during college are what transfer adcom only values.

EC’s matter just as much, if not more for transfer. Especially if you are applying for admission after only one semester of classes. I know I read somewhere that the transfer rate to Stanford is only about 2%.

Did you apply to Stanford and Brown for fall 2015? If not, why not?

Transfer admission at both of those places is extremely difficult. You would be better off taking a gap year and applying for fall 2016.
