<p>I applied Cornell ED because I knew it was a good gamble. I also had a few other schools in my mind at the time of my decision to apply ED to Cornell but they were all equal to the desire level I had to attend Cornell. The question you need to ask is how much you want to attend you ED school relative to your other schools on your mind. Personally, for me a school is in the end, well, a school. It seems high-school students expect colleges to be like some type of place that will set them for life, but I feel as long as the school is up there in the elite category then it all depends on your work once you are there. I reasoned that an elite college like Cornell would supply me with a similar quality of education as would other schools like Stanford or Brown, so I just went for it and applied ED. Bottom line: "know thyself."</p>
