^^??
My high school only offers one Honors class (bio) in 9th grade, and one accelerated class(geo).
My schedule when I was in 9th grade:
Honors Biology
Accelerated Geometry
World History
English 9
Personal Health (1 semester)
Physical Education (1 semester)
Spanish I

Does it matter that my freshman year wasn't that rigorous?

If you took the most rigorous at your school, even if it wasn’t that rigorous, they won’t look down on you.

Freshman are immature dwarfs with no desire for school, so colleges don’t care.

JK,JK,JK Colleges usually expect to see honors classes freshman year and then they look for AP’s. From least looked at to most looked at:Freshman, Senior, Sophomore, Junior year. As you can see, it’s the least looked at.

Although colleges don’t really look at it how much is your gpa counted when submitting yourself to colleges.

Presumably your school’s rigor is reflected in your counselor rec and class rank/transcript.
