How much does it cost for an online one-on-one tutorial for the SAT Preparation?

Hi guys,

I am new to this thread and I wanted to know how much will it cost me if I opted for a one-on-one tutorial for the SAT preparation. I want to pass and get high scores for my SATs so that I can get a scholarship in the university. I prefer having an intensive one-on-one tutorial because it’s more convenient from where I am, also I’m kind of an introvert so I prefer to study alone with a tutor.

Any suggestions?

OK, a couple of things:

  • there is no "passing grade" on the SAT.
  • scholarships are awarded on a huge number of factors, not limited to SAT scores. HIgh SAT scores in and of themselves probably won't get you the money you need.
  • you'll want to shop around- have you googled "online SAT prep"??
  • if you want to study one on one with a tutor, wouldn't it make more sense to find a local SAT tutor? Contact local schools to see if any math/English teachers tutor SAT. (WArning though: I'm not allowed to tutor kids in my own school-- it's a conflict of interest.)
