How much does my AP credit help?

I’ve taken 11 AP classes and passed all of them with a 3 or higher. Please tell me if I have my information correct below.

This is for a BA in the college of Letters and Sciences
A 4 in both AP Lang and AP Lit covers Area 1 of Area A for my Gen Eds
3 years of A’s in high school Spanish covers Area B of my Gen Eds
Passing AP Physics, AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus AB, AP Computer Science A, and AP Computer Science Principles covers the 3 classes required for Area C
Passing AP Government, AP Psychology, and AP US History covers the 3 classes required for Area D
Passing AP World History covers a course for Area E, I still have 2 more classes to go for Area E
I need two courses in both Area F and Area G

I just need to complete Area 2 of Area A and 6 more classes to complete my GE’s, correct? I feel like I’m missing something important and that things can’t be this easy for me.

Have you tried looking at the 4 year plan for your major and then replace the GE’s listed with the AP credits to see if you they will fulfill all those requirements?

What specifically is your major?

I’m a Film and Media Studies major, but I’m not really concerned about my GE’s covering for major requirements. I’m more concerned about my AP’s covering the GE requirements for graduation.

I assume you are attending Freshman orientation, so you can ask your advisor to help you determine which of your AP classes will cover the GE’s for graduation and if what you posted is correct.
