I'm really confused about the total price of attendance for NYU. I've read/heard different things. I was wondering if anyone knew what the total expenses (tuition, room and board, etc...) for NYU 2014-15 was. It would be really awesome if someone could help out! Thanks

To my knowledge, the 2014-15 cost of attendance - $66,600 - is really an estimate at the moment, and since the cost of room&board (meal plans, different halls/rooms, etc.) can vary from student to student, it’s not exactly set in stone. However, I don’t think the other costs (tuition, books, etc.) will change much, if at all, from the estimate.

Thanks!

is 66k including all books, transport and health insurance and all?

It’s listed at $72k for internationals on the website and $66k in albert. So i’m a little bit confused too.

Cost for 2014-2015 is listed as $66,890 for students in NYC, and about $10K more for students overseas. Tuition is the same in each place, but housing and food is more expensive abroad (especially since the exchange rates aren’t really favorable to the USD right now).

@afromnc Thanks but it’s not $10k more. It’s $5k more according to nyu’s website

Sorry - I was looking at the total - including airfare (ouch) and other things. My totals for London Freshman year are between $69,470 and $79,186 and totals for NYC are $66,892. Fees higher in NYC, Housing and meals higher in London, Flight much higher with London, Books higher in NY, Immigration costs with London but not NYC.
