Because Rice’s website and emails indicated that I need to send in all settings of every test, I sent all 3 of my SAT II tests. I’m happy with two of my scores, but I took Math II in sophomore year and got a 690. How much will this hurt me? Will Rice evaluate all three scores given that they only require two?
Thanks so much for your help!
You should call the admissions office and ask them this. They don’t bite.
I asked because I sent them my horrible subject test scores, and they simply stated that they review applications hollistically. Rip.
They say that they require all scores because they want to be able to see students in their entirety. From my understanding, this is for the benefit of the applicant, as Rice wants to make sure you are giving it your all. While a higher score might be preferable for that subject test, your SAT and/or ACT scores are more important as far as I know.
