I know it depends on where you go etc., but does anybody have a rough number? or has anyone done it before?

Many schools charge the regular tuition but you pay for travel.

If your school doesn't require you to pay the school tuition while abroad it's then significantly cheaper. If not housing will likely still be cheaper (especially if you're on a dorm and meal plan here in the States) so you break about even with the plane ticket.
Of course if you study abroad in Europe and the UK things are more expensive than here due to the strength of the dollar, and it depends on if you go to a city, etc.

was going to say the exact same thing as stargirl said above. overall, usually comparable to or slightly lower than what your overall cost is for your home university right now (this assumes the program you go to is sanctioned by your home university and thus you're paying equal tuition).
