I'm currently attending Wayne State College as a freshman. I know it is not all that great of a school, so I'm worried about my grad school prospects. As of right now I have a 3.9 GPA (and yes I do plan to keep that up or even retake the class I got a B in, in order to bring it up to a 4), am enrolled in Intl Club, ACM, and PENN.

My major is Computer Information Systems with a concentration on Networking.

What are my chances of getting into:

MIT
NYU
Michigan Uni - Anne Arbour
Purdue Uni - Lafayette
University of Maryland - College Park
Georgetown Uni
University of Virginia

Is going to WSC decreasing my chances of getting into a top university? And what are some other ways besides research or internships to make myself look better to grad schools?

My apologies if this is in the wrong thread.

Thanks,
~ Nelly
