<p>I applied to Bucknell and my Classics professor went there for undergrad. She wrote a recommendation for me. My calculus teacher got his doctorate from Wesleyan, taught there, and his wife/son went there. I applied there as of yesterday and he also wrote a recommendation for me. How much does the school consider alumni connections if it the person recommending me?</p>
