How much does this help when I apply?

Being Hispanic
Being Low income(my mother can only work full time since my father was diagnosed with a rare muscle disorder known as myasthenia gravis which is a autoimmune neuromuscular disease which impairs his ability to work strenuously.
Not even living in the city where my school is. I am part of a transfer program, takes me 20 mins to get to school via the highway no traffic and 45 with traffic
Would be first to go to 4 year college, both parents trying to get degrees in Community college
Eldest in my family by 10 years.

I would have above 4.0 GPA weighted after jr year. I hope colleges see senior year so they can see I have been improving;I got a C both semesters in math as a sophmore but this year in my math class and ap stat class I have 97s in both. Aiming for UCSD/Berkeley

You should have some excellent opportunities. What are your interests? Do you have SAT/ACT scores?

I am interested in statistics/possibly a bio major. I took AP spanish stat and bio this year.

Next year I am taking AP AB calc, Econ, Psych, Enviromental Science, APB physics and Honors English

Taking SAT’s in june. I would have taken them earlier but I thought they were around 100$(got it confused with AP test cost) and my family was low on money was my mom got layed off during soph year which caused a lot of family hardship and depressed me quite a bit. Made me not care about school, probably why my grades slipped so much.

I have taken a practice math sat and got 800 along in a bio one. Taking SAT I in sr year. My friend who got a 2370 will tutor me/I will tutor myself.

On the psat I got 75/72/60 for M/CR/W I need to improve my english grammar rules =\ took it without every studying before so I think I can raise it to get a 2200

UCs can not use race as a factor in admissions. You will get boost for being Hispanic and better aid being low income at top private colleges.
