I really bit off more than I could chew this semester by taking 20 units. There is a chance that I might end up with C's in three out of the six classes I am taking. My GPA will drop by .2, but it will still be above 3. My major is not impacted and none of the classes are major prerequisites. How likely is it that UCLA will rescind my admission?

Judging by all of the people who’ve dropped courses here and there and the very few people who’ve gotten rescinded for getting C’s in previous years’ threads, I’d say that you’ll be fine. 80% chance of it.

UCLA doesn’t seem to give a ■■■■ about nonmajor classes as long as you don’t get D’s or F’s in them. Your nonimpacted major and you staying above 3.0 will help a lot. :)

@Thanks! You’re the best! Yeah, I was looking at some older threads, and I couldn’t find much information of people getting rescinded because of C’s

Since you’ve been accepted, they won’t really care about that C. Your GPA is going to reset when you’re at UCLA anyway. It’d be a different story if you were applying and you had a few C’s.
