How much does Yale weigh AIME/USABO?

<p>Hey, I'm a junior who's planning on applying SCEA to Yale. I'm just curious how much Yale weighs AMC/AIME/USABO scores?</p>

<p>I qualified for the USABO semifinals (top 500) with a score of 35 (cutoff 25/50)</p>

<p>I also scored a 99 on the AMC (cutoff 88.5) and managed to get 5/15 on the AIME</p>

<p>My intended major in Biology. I figure having a strong math track record yet applying for Biology would some diversity and strength to my application? In terms of GPA/SAT, I'm pretty average for a Yale application (3.98 UW(1 B), 2350 SAT (Single Sitting), president of several clubs, etc, etc.</p>

<p>I'm just curious how important my AIME/AMC/USABO scores will be</p>

<p>Who can tell? It’s one feature of your entire package. No one can say: “It’s XX% of your total evaluation”. It’s a component of your entire narrative. That’s holistic evaluations. Good luck to you.</p>
