here are penn state's tuition fees. they also vary depending on major.

Sorry, I'm just Anti-PSU. I've been there a few handfuls of times and have yet to be impressed with pretty much anything. I've heard good things about some of their academics, but the overall environment every time i have been there is drink-drink-drink. They drink in the streets, they drink in the dorms, they drink in the buildings, they drink everywhere. One morning I was walking around campus at 9 am and people were already roaming the streets with six packs starting already. I ate lunch at the taco bell on College Ave and people literally just stumbled in completely smashed... I guess that's the Penn State Spirit right there. ...... anyway that is just not my thing and for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would ever want to go there... That environment (in my mind) is absolutely horrible and is asking for trouble.. do you guys remember when somebody fell out of their dorm window a few years ago while having a dorm room party? I do. (i also think it's crazy that you can drink in dorm rooms as well as anywhere on campus at any time) I dated a guy during high school who had a brother at UPARK and he got hit by a drunk driver while crossing a street. . . I don't care how "top notch" the academics are... that school is there to party... Believe me, I had this discussion with my boyfriend when he transfered there this fall. (He goes to the Dickenson School of Law and also went to a smaller Penn State campus for his undergrad..)

also, I'm not trying to say everyone at penn state drinks... i know there are some people at penn state who choose not to drink and I certainly respect that choice, and more power to them being in that environment and not giving in, I just personally think that place is crap. (That's the end of my rant)
