How much easier is the branch to get into?

I heard that the uconn branches are easier to get into than storrs and then you can transfer later. I wanted to know how much easier is it to get into the west hartford branch for an engineering major? My friend said that you get Ds and still get into the west hartford branch but i doubt she’s right.

If you plan on doing engineering, I suggest you get an A.S. At a Connecticut community college. UCONN is part of the college of technology pathway program. If you finish your A.S. with at least a 3.0 you’re guaranteed acceptance. I suggest you research this further as it may have changed. But I would recommend this option since it would be cheaper and you are guaranteed acceptance.

that sounds good but i still would like an answer to my original question @MikroTesla
