How much extra tiem should I request?

I have been formally diagnosed with dislexia and dyspraxia. Should I slect 50% or 100% extra time.

In my country I get the maximum amount (25%) however, this is the limit that anyone can have unless they are blind etc. at least I think.

For Section 15 of the report.

I have indicated that I have dyslexia and dyspraxia, do I need to fill out any of the visual fields, physical fields etc. sections on the right - I do not know what to put in there and also I had in my formal testing of learning dificulties that I used coloured overlays which is in the reprot that I am sending, do I fill that out in section 15.

People here do usually try to help. But the form you are filling out is one that I would guess most people have never seen. Typically, a school’s SAT coordinator does this. Maybe some home-schoolers can help you out? I don’t know what time frame (or success rate) students are looking at when they have to do this independently.

I teach Middle School. Typically our special circumstances students receive 100% extra time on assessments. How much extra time do you need? Do you feel you will require 100% or 50% more time, based on your prior testing experiences?

HEre, the documentation and request for accommodations is commonly made by the school counselor. If you are requesting yourself, you will want to document what you currently get (25%) and if that is sufficient , then don’t request more than the time and a half. If you do, and if you get it the test will probably be given over 2 days and the arrangements have to b made for this.

Hey thanks I have decided to go with 50% since I am travelling to the center and also it says apparently I have to take it over 2 days which I can’t do financially.

Can I ask you, the list of available centres for the SAT in december has the nearest centre of me getting there by 7:52 AM!!! There is no way earlier I can get there since I have to take 2 trains.

Can I ask will I still be admitted in, I have 20 minutes to decide it would be the same situation in January with regard to the centres. And I want to take the 2400 scale one. What shall I do? Should I book this now without extra time etc. or wait till January?
