I'm middle class non-citizen living in Northern Va. However, my sister who is only a year older than me will goto college also so it will take a chunk of money from my daddy :P
Suppose I apply ED and get it.. but dont exactly get the financial aid that I want, I'll be screwed. This is why I need to know how much aid ppl normally get. Have you recieved financial aid and are middle class (100k or close to that) and if so how much?
I heard a lot of people say they recieved like 10k in financial aid..is that for all 4 years or just 1 ? <== lloll stupid question

That's for one year because Cornell recalculates your FA package each year based on your family's EFC so there's no way to know how much financial aid you will receive in subsequent years.

your FA will be "enough" most likely. If cornell shafts you on FA, you either don't attend because you can't afford it or because a slightly lower school offered you a MUCH better deal. This brings their yield (and if you try it for a year but just can't make ends meet, their retention rate) down, which means they would be screwing themselves. So yeah, apply to a bunch of scholarships if you're concerned about FA, but don't worry too much about cornell giving you little or no FA if you need it, on whatever level.
