but people in other majors can tell me too

I'm an NYU freshman - most freshman take 16 credits a semester, about 10 hours of class per week - so lots of spare time to have fun, do homework/study, and have a job. I'm an Econ major and I have more than enough time for a social life, homework, and a part-time job. How busy you are depends on you, how social you are, whether you have an internship/job or whatever.

My boyfriend's in Stern and he has a similar schedule as me. We both work part-time, get good grades, and have fun...yeah don't worry one great thing about college is all the free time.

i'm a junior taking 16 credits as well. i have a little less free time than other people i know, because i'm taking an intense language course and i participate in student clubs.

last semester, i had 16 credits + an internship three days a week. but i still had plenty of time to go out, party, study, sit around and watch tv.

it's all time management. if you plan things out (GET A PLANNER AND USE IT) and don't leave stuff until the last minute, you'll have plenty of time to do everything you want.

Are any of you double majors?

my brother is a senior at stern. he has a decent amount of free time.

i do remember though in his freshman and sophomore year he had a lot of work.
