I have a study hall and do homework in there, and other than that maybe have like a half hour of homework daily. Im currently enrolled in 7 ap classes too (and have gotten all 5's on the 6 ive already taken).

I procrasinate a lot too. Sometimes I never do HW, sometimes I spend 3~4 hours on it. For studying for tests, I spend at least 2 hours for each one.

I guess on average 3 hours/night, but sometimes it's more like eight (before tests) and last night it was 0 :)

Wow a lot of varied answers. I have to go start math now :( it'll probably take me an hour or so.

I try to take an hour each on two of my hard classes. An hour on the rest of the easy classes. Then I study for an hour in whatever class I need to study in. I might take advantage of my lunch hour when i take extremely hard classes and AP classes later.

HW depends if I have any tests the next day. If I don't have any tests, I have about 2 hours of HW/night. Otherwise, it ranges from 3-6 hours.

I don't need to work too hard...

Some nights I don't work, others I work 5-6 hours (mostly to make up for lost productivity)...

So maybe 1-2 hours a night on average.

I spend an average of three to four hours a night on homework usually for AP US. My teacher's assignments are so vague that it takes a long time to figure out what I actually need to do. For instance, last night I was trying to write an essay with a prompt that made no sense at all. I don't mind having homework as long as it is not ambiguous. Spending time figuring out what needs to be done is annoying.

umm i have about 40 pages of us history to read and cornell notes to do..but ehh im not in the mood so it will be late

i hardly get any homework and i'm a junior in high school.

it depends on how much hmwk i have. my teachers all decide to pile up assignments on me at the same time...

Whoa, sandwraith...just half an hour for the seven APs? O_O

I guess I do between one - five hours of homework for my APs, and part of that time is me the procrastinator. For the most part, if I just spent one hour on assignments alone, that means there's an exam coming up...

im a sophomore... with academic ocd. I can spend 7-10 hours on homework (of course neglecting sleep). About 6 hours for all my classes (I take one AP and two honors... so about an hour and a half for each) then geometry (yep I am a bad math student... so gotta study hard which is about an hour) then english is another hour. But I only have all 5 classes on monday... and subjects only meet 4 times a week so normally I only have to prepare for 4 classes.

how much do I do or how much I should be doing? :/
i say about an hour or less (we have like 4 hours worth though) which could be why I'm getting a 2.2

Im a sophmore, i usually spend about two hours or less. Im a huge procrastinator, can never get to start to do my work and get distracted. So thats probably why it takes me so long.

Just a curious question...if you're taking AP Calc AB, how much time do you spend on just that class? I spend between 2 to 4 on that alone...

i do about 6, but it doesnt help that my tv is on, and i plkay games while doing it :D

But lately? 30 mins, with tv...i have no work wthic, and i like getting distracted.... hell, i usually do hw withing 10 mins of betdtime... now when i was doign stuff in middleschool for some reason i spent like 5 hours in all honors/gifted, now i dont try at all and i still get b's 1 c , and 1 a in every 9 weeks.... I should go to study halls...

I study and do homework when I feel like it. You have to understand how that works. They shoved me in regular history because I was 1% lower than the grade you had to get to get in. (Got a 92 instead of a 93) So I did a year's worth of homework in one weekend........... Yes,,, that's a tad insane, but I like to do homework in nice 16 hour chunks and do absolutely nothing the rest of the time. Not the best method, but ehhh. It's fun and you should try it.

Yea, speaking of vague assignments my AP english teacher will give us a ?, that is so broad and then complain when we don't follow directions. I loved last year when our teacher handed us an outline/directions sheet for each paper, I crave notes and detailed instructions :).

how about every year since this year i would do like 5 hours a night, minimum. Now its like 2 hours on average, but senioritis is bliss
