Apparently I have a particularly homework-intensive school because I have 4 APs, 1 honors and get easily 4-5 hours of HW a night...

3 APs :

AP Physics - ~2 hours
AP Chem - ~20 minutes
Ap German - ~10 minutes

I'm pretty much the same as raiderade. I'm a chronic procrastinator and I do don't do nearly as much as I should. Some nights I can't sleep because I put off all the work, and others I don't do anything.

I'm like Hurt. I have at least 6 hours of homework per night. 5 APs

95% percent of my hw is AP Bio
the rest is split between AP Euro, AP Calc and Jr Eng Honors

total hw time a night 2+hrs

Sometimes I do my homework 5 minutes before class starts.
I don't know how you guys get so much homework.

With AP Physics B, AP Calculus AB, AP English Literature, and AP Micro Economics (block schedule), I average around three hours a night. I normally don't have AP Micro Economics homework because I can get it done at school.

99% of my homework time is Abstract Algebra, the other 1% involves Computer Programming 2 and AP English

AP US - 2-5 hrs
AP English Lang - 0-30 min

Total amount of homework (including non-APs): 3.5-6.5 hrs.

And that's not including studying (approximately 1-4 hrs).

5 AP's, 1 Honors, 1 Nonleveled

AP Spanish - 30min/night (Reading, writing, presentations; it comes in bursts - i.e 0/0/2 hrs)
AP English - 90min/night (Very work intensive, hardest class at school)
AP Chemistry - 20min/night (im REALLY FAST when it comes to math)
AP USH - 50min/night (Nightly reading/notes take up to 80 min, class is doing National History Day which is 15min/night, sometimes no work is assigned, too)
AP CalcAB - 15min/night - (I can rip through this; it isnt checked, so If i understand it I can just skip the tedious calculations)
Relational Dynamics - 15min/night - (Short articles/half page responses nightly)
Honors Physics - 35min/night - (My teacher collects and is very picky, formalizing it adds time)

About four hours, I do about 3 at home, 45min before school (I get dropped off early), and 15 during lunch if needed (our lunch is same length as class, 42 min.) Three of my teachers post assignments weekly, so I try to get ahead. I have sports, clubs, and weight training everyday, so friday and satuday nights are really the only time I have to be social (noting on school days.) To be honest im looking forward to a college workload (May be a little more - but far less classtime.)

I think homework depends on the teachers attitude to the class. All my teachers are very good and it is their intention that every student gets a 4 or 5, in addition to learning everything they would've been taught in an honors class.

6 AP's, 2 Honors

I have roughly seven hours of homework a night... Of course, I take frequent breaks and stuff so its more like five.

Case in point, I'm posting this at 1:49 AM as I try to procrastinate on doing my Euro History Study Guide.

AP Calc AB, Macro: 30-40min each
AP english: at least 1.5 hours or more
Physics P (not AP): 1-2 hours ughh

AP Physics- Around 20-30 mins.
AP Bio- 20-30 mins.
AP Chem- 20-30 mins.
AP English- 20 mins
AP Calc- 30 mins
History- Hour-ish? Really tedious stuff that's collected.
French Immersion- like 10 mins.

I usually only spend like 2 hours at most though.

AP Bio - 1-2 hours (some night ~30 minutes)
AP Chem - 45 minutes
AP Calc - 30 min - 1 hr
AP Spanish - 30 min - 1 hr
Honors English - 2 hours (seriously, what's with that?. I guess since my school doesn't offer AP they make honors ridiculously hard)

5-6 hours per night. Without procrastination...

WOW I'm jealous of the people who finished calculus in less than 1 hour. We have so many questions per night (30 or 40 long ones) it's lucky to be able to get through all of them in 2 hours.

AP Art History-Online..do it over the weekend for like 1 hr..hehe
AP English Lang and Comp.-usually don't have hw, except for reading sometimes. max: 1.5hr
AP Psych-usually have to read and do notecards, 2 hrs a night I'd say. 3hrs night before tests
AP US History-I really love history but I hate this class. I spend like 2 hrs a night, and sometimes I pull all nighters the night before tests ..
AP Chemistry-a LOT of problems. About 3 hrs a night? sometimes.
AP Spanish-not much hw, but up to 5 hours a week I guess
AP Calc BC-like 4 hrs..

I pretty much don't sleep because I'm a big procrastinator. =D

Not a lot really. Just 2 APs, 1 Honors, 3 Regular courses
AP Chemistry - 30 minutes a day, sometimes we don't even get homework
AP Spanish - 5 minutes, we rarely get HW
Pre-Calc Honors - 15 minutes a day
Physics(school doesn't offer Honors Physics) - 5 minutes, once in a blue moon
US History(I hate history) - 5 minutes
English(I hate english) - 5 minutes, rarely
In total - 1 hour and 5 minutes at max

AP English: usually about 1 hour worth of essays/literature assignments
AP SPanish: 30 minutes
Band: Including marching practice, 2 hours a night
AP U.S. History: 30 minutes of studying/ sporadic essays
AP Chemistry: 30 minutes a night, weekly assignments=2 additional hours
AP Calculus: about 45 minutes a night
HOnors physics: 35-40 minutes

I have no life................

2 ap, 3 honors, 1 reg

3-4 hours..includes hw and studying

AP calc: 20-30 min
Ap physics: at least 1 hour doing math. maybe 10-15 min also reading stuff and examples
AP latin: that gets done during class or during school
english: ****load of reading and then reflecting on it. at least an 1 hour if I don't procrastinate and read quickly
history: 30 min. max of reading
