How much homework do you have on average each night?

u guys are lucky..
my AP Euro teacher..goes to bed at 9 and always enjoy thinking about her students working on those assignments till 3 am..

my honor eng 3 is soo hard, harder than AP lit...I should..sigh...
the teacher loves those flowery decoration and hard to understand essays, I feel like an idiot in her class...

I take 2 AP classes
AP Psych- (block course, taking online), about 1.5 hours a day (reading and taking notes)
AP comp gov't- boring class, take me about 30 minutes max if i don't fell asleep.
5 honor classes
MYP computer science- sigh... don't know anything about computers but managing to get a good grade :-), about 45 min.
alg2/trig-20 minutes (the teacher's taking her time, ok, but really, we need to be in Chapter 3)
hmm... Everything is moderate, except annotating, then i'm really screwed (i try too hard, it falls in 10 percent column of my overall grade anyways).
So everything else is 2.5 or more hours :-( (ugh... AP psych is getting on my nerves)

Physics C: 20 min. a night.
Spanish AP: 20 min. a night.
Calc: 20 min. a night.
Bio AP: 20 min. a night.
APUSH: 30 min. a night.
AP Comp: 20 min. a night.
Total: 2 hours 10 min.
+dinner=3 hours
+Internet=4 hours
+shower, breaks=5 hours
+procrastination=7 hours total.

4 AP classes ... some night i don't even open my backpack haha, but others i do for studying

AP bio:nothing
AP chem: occasional homework .. done in 20 min.
AP English: not much, some reading though
AP Calc BC: don't do the homework.. still reviewing AB stuff easy
spanish: do it in calc .. 5 min (answers are in the back of the book ahah)

i really do most of the homework i get in school considering i have 2 free period each day. i love being a senior!

Sometimes I do my homework 5 minutes before class starts.
I don't know how you guys get so much homework.

You basically just described what I do. I hardly ever do homework unless it's project or essay that I've waited until the last minute to do. Other assignments I finish the day it's due in a different class, and sometimes right when that class starts.

30 minutes on average, but I usually don't do my homework.

8 hours per night...

...yeah, I started 2.5 weeks late with 5 AP courses, and I'm still trying to catch up.

Should drop down to like 6 hours per night once I'm caught up. My teachers give tons of homework.

AP English
AP Statistics
AP Physics C
AP Government
AP Chemistry

AP USH-an hour a night
AP CALC BC-45minutes
English- 45minutes
AP ES-30minutes
French 2Honors-15minutes
Introduction to Art Perspectives-0minutes

freshman year--2 hours a night, no APs
sophomore year--4 hours a night, 1 AP
junior year--5-6 hours a night, 4 APs
senior year--6-7 hours a night, 6 APs

some of you have ridiculously light workloads, and some of you have a scary amount of work to do. it's pretty much impossible to maintain all As without this^, although B students get by on 3-4 hrs.

well, im taking 5 aps and 2 honors during school, and then 2 aps online with a dual enrollment online and an honors online.

next semester, im taking 3 duals online, too.

suicide? maybe. lol hahah

like...1.5 hours per day? seriously, it's not that much.

like 2-3 hours a day. ^ Um where did you guys hear of dual enrollment? How do you sign up for online classes? I've never heard of it..

Wow..this makes me feel lucky!!!

6APs

2-3 hours of hw on average.

It varies though! Some days I have like one assignment to do that might take an hour (but usually I drag it out and end up taking 2 hours because I can't concentrate and keep ending up on the computer or in front of the TV)
Some days I have hw in all 7 classes and I'm scrambling to get it done...really crappy work on those days! And might end up taking 4 hours. If there's a HUGe project...probably 6 hours because I'll have the other hw assignments AND the project I procrastinated doing a couple days before it's due. Doesnt happen very often. Once/twice a year.

I don't do much studying though. Just the night before...I don't remember the last time I studied for a test before the night before. But then I probably have other hw to do..so by the time I finish my hw..I dont really like doing hardcore, intense studying so I look over the basics and cram in all the detailed stuff in the morning.

AP Chemistry: none assigned. I try to focus & hone in during class.

I take 2 APs (that's the most my school offers to seniors), and the rest are "honors".
I get out of school at 5-7PM everyday...

I don't finish until 1AM almost everyday.

Wow. 30 minutes? 2 hours? I wish!

I'm a junior. I'm in 4 AP's (AP-Bio, AP- Amer./Eng Lit, AP- U.S,AP-Span.) & 1 honors(pre-calc). But my work load is about 1-2hours per each class && I always have homework in each class;this includes break.

just4mywubbies, im in the same boat. life sucks as a junior :( and so does break! dnt forget to add all those hrs in PLUS ACT/SAT prep....ahhhhhhhh!

Ewww I know. Junior year is crazyyyy.

On certain nights when I have a TON of hw..I just have to remind myself of everyone on CC who has that much every night..and I'm taking 6 APs..like what did I expect anyways?

But fitting in my ECs..and just time to hang out and relax, and shop, watch movies, do my HW AND study for the SATs (grosssss)...it's crazy!

Of course...I don't have the best time management skills either.

But guys, look on the bright side, junior year is HALf way over! :)

WHAT? so FAST?

Well I usually get home at 6...and I sleep at 10 pm.

OK, that's about a 4 hour workload BUT. that's with 1 AP! ONLY!

I'm considering self-studying 4 more APs! Am I going to kill myself?
