How much homework will I get for these?

I'll be starting my freshman year in college this fall. I'll b taking the following subjects.

Elementary statstics
Introduction to Business
College Composition (freshman english)
Principles to Macroeconomics

How much homework per night should I expect to have for these subjects? And how much reading do I have to do?

That’ll vary pretty drastically depending on your school and professors. So… could be very little, could be a lot, hard to say. The usual rule of thumb is that you should expect to spend 2-3 hours per credit hour studying/doing homework outside of class.

I’ll be going to a community college if that helps.

Still varies, sorry! :stuck_out_tongue: I attended two different CCs before I transferred… for English, my first professor’s goal was to teach us to be short and concise, so papers were usually short to teach students to say a lot in little words. A different one I had would do things like assign a novel to read and two 1000 word papers over the same weekend.

But that’s a fine schedule and I wouldn’t expect it to be too hard. You should have plenty of free time.
